Hi guys,
I'm thinking of upgrading my graphics card before BF4 launch. Currently I have a HD 6850 and I think it is high time for an upgrade. The rest of my system specs are as follows:

CPU: Intel core i5 2500@3.8ghz
GPU: Sapphire 6850 2gb
MB: Gigabyte Z68 apd3
RAM: Mushkin Enhanced 8gb DDR3 1600
SSD: Crucial M4 128gb
PSU: NZXT Hale 82 750w 80+ bronze
Case: HAF 912
OS: Windows 7 Home Premium 64bit

I know my system isn't perfect, but I built a year or two ago when I was a noob at this whole pc building business. It ran bf3 on medium/high@1080p 50+ fps. The rest of my system looks good with my CPU performing the same as a haswell core i5@stock.

I am not quite sure on what would be the best card for my system. Right now I am thinking about the 7950 for $200...but there also is the 8850/9850 being released on the 25th. It should be around $200-$250, but is it going to be able to compete with the 7950?? There is also the Nvidia route with the options being the GTX 660TI($230) or GTX 760($250).

I'm asking you guys to share your thoughts and let me know what you think is the best option for my budget.

Thanks so much!

I would go for the 7950, but wait for the release of the 9000-series before getting trigger happy.

Same as this guy. Wait for the next series to be released if you really want some power :). If not buy the 7950. Good luck in the gaming world.

Just wait for sometime. The upcoming Radeons( R9 and R7) will be optimised for games like Battlefield 4. So hold on to your old one for sometime more and then after the reviews come out go for the one which fits your budget..
