Hello.

I'm interested in buying an EVGA Z87 Stinger motherboard.

But i have a question.

According to the motherboards's spec sheet:
http://www.evga.com/products/pdf/111-HW-E872.pdf

There is a "mSATA/mPCI-e Slot"

And I happen to have a Crucial M4 mSATA 256GB SSD.

But to be honest, I do not know if this SSD will fit on this motherboard. Jugding from the pictures, I think it will not fit. I don't know if there is an adapter needed that I'm not aware of.

By the way, even though this board is fairly new, there is very little info on the internet, I can't even find the manual online.

Please advice, will this motherboard work with my mSATA SSD? do you think it will fit? I have no use for a wireless card on the "mSATA/mPCI-e Slot" because I'm using wired ethernet all the time. In case of emergency, I have a USB Wi-Fi dongle lying around.

Thanks in advance

The "mSATA/mPCI-e Slot" is a new industry standard. I don't know this for a fact, but I would expect that your Crucial SSD "should" fit.

I don't think so. From the pictures it looks like half-height port to me. I need a full-size one
