I'm undertaking my first personal build and I wanted to know if this would play games like Skyrim at decent settings and run programs like Photoshop without major lag. Also, would downgrading the CPU to an i3-3225 bottleneck my chosen GPU or cause any other problems? Thanks in advance.

If you want to have a less laggy Photoshop consider getting a 660 or 760 if you have the money. The 650 hasn't enough power. And please don't use bottlenecking (as a term).

Thanks. I can drop an extra 50 for a 660,so I'll do that.
