Hi, I recently built a PC and I was wondering if it is ready for the first 2 years of next-gen gaming. Also, I want to run games at 1920x 1080
Motherboard: MSI FM2 A75MA E35
CPU: AMD Athlon II X4 750K Quad Core
GPU: ASUS Radeon HD 7770
RAM: 8GB Crucial Ballistix 1600 MHz CL9
HDD: Seagate Barracuda 7200 RPM 16MB Cache

It's a fools errand to upgrade for future games. If you are buying a new system, then you may consider purchasing hardware with a bit more room to grow, but don't mess with an existing system on unknown future requirements. It's foolish and costly.

Wait until you find a game that you are not happy with the performance, then consider an upgrade. In your case, when that time comes, you'll likely want to start over. That is quite an old CPU.

Since you just built that system, just realize you will not be using high settings on games. Future games should still have lower settings to use and as long as you are ok with that, you should be fine. For how long is completely a guess.
