I assembled a pc in July 2011 and want to look at upgrading small components on the system, any suggestions welcome.

Current rig:
bx80623172600k - Intel core I7 2600k 3.40Ghz 8MB cache skt 1155
GA-P67A-UD4 B3 - Gigabyte P67A-UD4 B3 Stepped socket 1155 ATX
CMX4GX3M2A1600C9 - Corsair XMS3 4GB DDR3-1600 Kit - 2x 2GB Modules
ATX-Z750 - AOpen 750 Watt 24 pin Modular PSU
Corsair CC600T Graphite Chassis

Graphics card:
Previously MSI GTX580 Lightning (fried VRAM Module)
Current Gigabyte N670oc 2GB

Ideas i have had:
Double corsair memory
SSD

Any suggestions are welcome, cooling ideas or any performance enhancements. I am on a budget and am looking for the best performance boost for money spent.

Thanks AxlFone, i think i will take a look into the memory upgrade as a start, seen a few good quality SSD on sale, have you ever used a Vertex 4 128GB, heard a rumor they are rather good for performance boosts. Not a real fan of sandisk as a brand, tend to stick with what i know, but ill do a read up on them and see what the stats say. Thanks :D

What are your needs?

your current processor is still one of the best on the market, so I see no reason to upgrade that.

If fast boot times/loading times and transfer times is what your after, a nice 840 Pro/EVO or a sandisk Extreme would be the top tier SSDs followed by the 840, the sandisk ultra plus and the plexor M5S.

if you can grab a cheap 670, then a second 670 in SLI would make for a good graphics card upgrade.

your memory upgrade idea is not bad either, might help in some tasks.
