Hello, so i wanted to change my avatar for my tomshardware account, so i went on the profile editor and did the normal stuff, but then when i went to save it, i was directed to another page where it had an 500 error and saying somethings wrong, my picture is 48x50 so it should work, does anybody have or had this problem, and if so, do you know how to fix it? :3

Make sure your image is perfectly square, under 100k or so, and one of the standard image formats, .jpg, .png, .gif, and that it complies with our Rules of Conduct (nothing lewd, violent or vulgar). Let me know if you still have issues after this. :)

Sometimes you might be denied an avatar approval if your avatar is the same as one of the pre-existing avatars for an administrator or a moderator. Impersonation is something we guard against and one of the precautions we take. :)
