Video Editing / 3D rendering workstation - Budget under $1500

Will primarily be using Adobe premiere and after effects, but I'd like to start dabbling in 3D stuff as well. And I'd like to play some high end games on it as well, but I was told that 3D and gaming are on opposite ends of the spectrum... Lol.
Last thing I'm really wanting 16gb ram, but not sure if that's necessarily in the budget. I'm pretty much a noob with computer specs.
