So what's up, what would be the best monitor under 300 USD, 23-27", I'm more into movies>bf3/bf4 when it comes out.

I was thinking on the , ASUS VG248QE 144hz
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16824236313

or the BenQ XL2420T 120hz

Also i'm using a 7970 vapor x.
Would 3d Work any good on this gpu for movies>gaming
Are there any other monitor better then these at this price point?

Solution
That ASUS monitor is dope, 1ms response time!? I'd go for that over the BenQ, personally. Though the BenQ features like Swift Control are off the chain as well. If you're not really gaming that much though, some of the features are a bit overkill for watching movies, you could save a bunch of money if you wanted...

If by 3D you mean 3 monitors in surround, I'm sure the 7970 will be excellent. But those aren't 3D monitors, so actual 3D won't be an option, see AMD's page on their AMD H3D recommendations: http://www.amd.com/US/PRODUCTS/TECHNOLOGIES/AMD-HD3D/Pages/how-to.aspxf

All in all, you've got two excellent options.

I have the ASUS VG248QE 144hz and I have no regrets at all. The monitor performs like a beast and the whites and blacks are amazingZOR! LOL

Cannot bea the price for the 144hz and you can now actually enable the Lightboost on this monitor with a programs instead of buying the $200 Nvdia 3d set. I play BF3 and love the refresh rate!

LOL !!! :) I know I love my internet speeds, every1 tells me all the time how lucky I am! This is the only reason why I still live in CA :) I deserve this internet, I used to have to deal with the worst DSL ever, i literally had to wait days sometimes for my internet to connect just to go online :(

Now i'm confused . This guy has some what the same question, & some one replayed

"I need this question answered as well, I have an Asus VV248 and it says 3D vision ready on the sticker but I have an AMD card. If I go buy the 3D Vision 2 kit. Will it work on my AMD card ?"

The 3D Vision kit is Nvidia proprietary tech and will not work with the AMD card.

.... So yea now idk what to do.

Here's that link from AMD: http://www.amd.com/US/PRODUCTS/TECHNOLOGIES/AMD-HD3D/Pages/hd3d.aspx

And I would highly doubt an nvidia kit like that would work for AMD...wouldn't make much sense.
