My First pc build ever AMD build or Intel build HELP!

Hello,

Sorry if this is the wrong section but seeying as i want a opinion about my build i thought this was the best section to go..

I am Ian i live in the Netherlands.
All my life i have build prebuild pc's out of the store.

But as over time i got more and more dedicated to gaming i wanted to try and setup my first own pc build.

I ended up with having 2 builds so far 1 with AMD CPU and 1 with INTEL CPU.

The AMD costs 1455 euro
THe Intel costs 1571 euro.


My budget would be 1600 euros max.

Now my questions are:

Which build is the best setup for pure gaming and multi tasking?

Do the parts work well together for that build or are there any parts i should change to get a better value for my money?

Tips are always welcome like i said its my very first setup.

I would go with the AMD, while intel has some hyper threading and other nice features, the AMD has a little more power, more overclocking ability a lower price. i don't think you would notice much difference in performance.

Why the extreme CPU? For gaming you will not really benefit from it and you could save some money by going with an i5-4670k or i7-4770k instead and get the same great performance.

Both the Intel and AMD solutions listed will perform similar, so the choice is yours, really. I just don't see the need for the 2011 socket platform and extreme CPU, if gaming is the primary use of this PC.

so i tweaked my build saved on the cpu and mobo and other things
and now even have some value left for the top version of the 7970 and modular psu .
and stil saved money at the end of the line.

Looks good!

If there is room for it in your budget, I strongly recommend adding a 120GB SSD for your OS and other main applications. Will make your system run MUCH faster.
