Hello,

I have a laptop with following specifications :

i5 3230m
8 gb RAM 1600mhz
Switchable Graphics HD 4000 / 7670m 2 gb

My laptop is not overheating at all, max CPU temperature i get is 70 on heavy load, which happens rarely.

I am playing Smite on my laptop and I get 60 FPS, MAXIMUM. it sometimes get over 70 but i can also decrease to 40 sometimes. My friend also has a laptop with following specifications :

GT 540M
i5 processor
4 gb RAM

And he is getting 140 FPS in the same game, same match, same visual settings.

At first I suspected the game could not switch to ATI gpu. Then I installed openhardware monitor. And when I switcehd graphics to HIGH PERFORMANCE ATI it activated the sensors, when I didnt it didnt give me any info about my ATI card. So I assume the system is able to switch to ATI.

When I switch the card to Intel HD 4000 and get in the game, I am still geting the same performance. How is it possible that HD4000 and 7670m gives the same fps, both low performance.

I am pretty puzzled. I tried every setting change through catalyst center. As far as I know 7670m is better than 540m. My processor is better, my RAM is better. My windows 8 is brand new. Nothing loaded. My drivers are upto date. I dont get how my friend can get 140 FPS, MUCH MUCH SMOOTHER gameplay, with lower specifications in every area of hardware.

Do you guys have any idea what could be the problem ?
