hello,
I have been looking at some new offers for internet plans for my home in the last week , and i found two offers that i can afford , and i need your advice on which to choose
1st offer : adsl 8mbps with 60gb on peak times (12pm to 2 am) and 60gb off peak (2 am to 12pm) I'm a current subscriber with this isp , and ping can get really high somtimes"
2nd offer : fiber optic 3mbps with unlimited download and 50mbps speed for connection between their network members

both the offers cost exactly the same
now as for my internet usage , i am a heavy downloader and i download movies , series , games all the time, and i play alot of online games so ping is a very important
thanks for the reply

I would go with the faster 8Mbps DSL if you can live with those data limits. I couldn't so I personally would go with the 3Mbps and unlimited data. Faster is great unless you run out of data. Also if the DSL latency is not always good, another reason to go with the 3Mbps, my cable modem latency never has issues, while my DSL often does.

Also take into account that with ADSL you may not get the advertised speeds depending on your distance from the central office.

I'd say go with the ADSL though too.
