linksys N300 wifi connected but no internet access (windows 7)

i have wifi connected but it wont connect to the internet, i plugged in my internet cord to my laptop nd the internet works fine but wen I connect the plug back to my router it has no internet access

Sounds like you have a cable modem.

It will lock a single mac address to prevent you from getting multiple IP addresses.

You can either put the PC mac in the router or you can power cycle the modem and the router. Turn both off and turn on modem and then router.
