AMD FX-9XXX (9590 or 9370) series discussion

hiya guys, opening up this threat to discus the AMD FX-9xxx series,

1. who have gotten their hands on it yet. if so how is it?. would like to hear your opinion
2. who plans on upgrading to it?. (so far cheapest i have seen is £680+

lets hear your thoughts, am thinking of upgrading to it from my FX8350 but think i will wait for the price to drop a bit.

Don't bother. They are just higher binned and overclocked FX 8350's. For the kind of money needed to buy one, your money would be better spend elsewhere.

The new haswell I7 extreme edition preforms better and costs less. Not worth it.
Just buy an 8350 with an h100i + noctua fans and overclock for close to similar performance, but at a much lower cost.

It's the same as your fx8350 so just buy a good water cooler and you can achieve similar results at a much lower cost.
