Hey I'm upgrading my outdated rigs ol' i7 920 and x58m intel express mobo to the i5 3570k/asrock extreme4 combo in a couple of days here and I realized that I had money for 1 more upgrade.

Currently im at 6 gigs ram of some old unknown brand and was considering replacing it with that shiny corsair vengange stuff( http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16820233196&nm_mc=OTC-pr1c3grabb3r&cm_mmc=OTC-pr1c3grabb3r-_-Memory+) since i read that the asrock extremes are known to have memory incompatibilities. On the other hand I have a old antec 650 psu that could also use upgrading, and wasnt sure about the new range of wattage i would need for overclocking the new i5 along with my current 7970 vapor x.

Basically which piece of hardware is more of a priority to upgrade? the psu i was looking at was this rosewill:

Any suggestions for other models are appreciated as well.

Is there any way to tell if the psu isnt up to the job anymore? As far as I can tell it seems to be holding steady, and I would really like to upgrade ram first but don't want my new parts not getting enough power or some other problem since it's got to be at least 4 years old now.

I would get a new PSU to be safe. 4 years is a while.

There are 8gb RAM kits for around $55.

A new PSU from Antec, XFX, Corsair, Seasonic shouldn't be too expensive. I recommend the XFX 650w unit for price/quality.
