Monitor no signal with new SSD install

I installed a new SSD and I want to install a fresh windows 7 on it so I have unplugged my old HDD for the time being. I had to pull out the MB but everything is back in and seems to be working, except for the screen of course! I've tried checking my GPU connection, checking for loose cables and cleaning the fan in my GPU. Also I cleaned the PSU fan last week. The monitor works, the indicator is orange (sleep) instead of green (on), if I turn it off then in it says No signal detected!
Also my mouse and keyboard aren't lighting up, idk if that's relevant.

Might try resetting the CMOS and check the mobo install is goog (all standoffs have a screw (snug) etc
