is that true that the gtx 780 better than hd 7990?

Hi there ..i ordered amd hd 7990 from online shope and some one toldme that the gtx 780 is much better than a hd 7990 i have cheked the gtx 780 price its the same as amd the both cost 590 euro so i am confusing i need som advic i can still cancel the orderder of the amd card

Better is relative to what you need. If you want to use less power, yes, the 780 is better, but in every other case, the daul GPU's of a 7990 are much more powerful and will yield more FPS and higher playable resolutions. Whoever told you the 780 is better was smoking something. That being said, crossfire is a bit less reliable and smooth than a single card, but it's only getting better (much, with the new 13.10 beta drivers).

If you are going to play multimonitor or don't plan on playing alot of DX11 the 7990 is an idiotic choice.
