can i run both MSI fast boot and intel rapid start?

Try it and see, but it's possible they might conflict and cause a system freeze. My MB supports Fast Boot, but when it's enabled there's no pause to press keys for Setup or Boot Device selection (both of which are essential to me), so I don't use it.
