Xigmatek Nighthawk SD1283 for FX-6300?

Hey Guys,

I plan to use AMDs in-built "Turbo Core Technology" to increase the GHZ of the FX-6300, I have been wondering whether the Nighthawk will be a good enough fan for this CPU. Won't have a big enough budget for water cooling i feel, especially from the website i plan to buy my build from. Here is the build:

CPU: 1061 - AMD FX 6300 Black Edition

Operating System: 11019 - Windows 8 (64-bit)

Hard Drive: 6028 - 1TB S-ATAIII 6.0Gb/s
Optical Drive: 7003 - 22x DVD±RW DL S-ATA
Graphics card: 9049 - AMD Radeon HD 7870 2GB
Sound card: 10001 - Onboard 7.1 Audio
Case: 17044 - Zalman Z11 Plus
PSU: 18046 - NEW! 550W Corsair VS

I plan to use this rig for gaming on AAA titles at a playable FPS. Budget wise the build is pretty much bang on how high I would like to go. Any advice on the build would be great.

Save the money and get a Coolermaster Hyper 212. You will get better performance overclocking your CPU yourself than what turbo core offers.

The Xigmatek Dark Knight Nighthawk SD1283 is better than the 212 plus or evo.

It might be better, but it is not $20 worth of better.
