USB Headset sound issue

I have a Logitech H330 USB headset that will play sound when I'm playing SC2 or Heroes of Newerth, but when I try and play pandora, youtube, etc none of the music/videos will come through. I've tried uninstalling the device and restarting my pc and reinstalling as well as setting it to default audio. Also tried all front and rear USB Ports. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Does youtube and pandora work with other headsets?

They do not, I was just playing around with it and it all works via firefox but not chrome.

Have you tried re-installing chrome? Or the headset drivers?
