Not sure which card to get.

I was thinking of buying the NVIDIA GTX 770, but then there was a sale on the HD RADEON 7990 for $700 off! I really want to get Splinter Cell Blacklist with the 770, but then again, I am not sure which card performs better. If I could get some help on which card is the best for gaming on the newest games of this year, then that would be great. Thanks in advance.

The hd 7990 is far much better than the gtx 770 in terms of performance, its the best amd card up till now (excluding R9 290x), here are some tests http://forums.anandtech.com/showthread.php?t=2307366 . By the way, you have to make sure that you have a suitable psu (for supplying wattage, voltage) and cpu (that wont bottleneck that great card). However, i recommend you hold on, the new series of AMD cards are already announced and will be out for sale in few days maybe. By that time, a card can be better than the hd 7990 or at least, the price of hd 7990 will decrease due to newer releases.
