this is essentially the same post as the other one.

the amd hd 7750 is almost twice as powerful as the nvidia gt 640.

if you want to be an nvidia fanboy... buy the 640 but realize you're getting a horrible deal. if you want to make a better choice then pick the 7750.

the 7750 can run games at acceptable levels given the price but does get bogged down in some cases but what can you expect for a budget level card? the 640 is not going to be acceptable at all for current games except at low settings.

TF2 , Counterstrike , Call of duty 1 , 2 , 3 ( not modern warfare ) , FIFA 12 , Minecraft , Slender , Call of duty 4 modern warfare , Civilisation V , Dirt 3 , Starcraft II

You can play demanding games with 15 FPS if you want

There is no Physical difference of the GDDR5 and DDR3 . They are all the same size. You just need a PCIe 16x slot

its not a "top end" card by far so of course some games will bog it down.

its twice the card as the 640 though so imagine if you bought that instead!
