I'm building a budget gaming pc right now, and I'm still confused on what cpu and mobo to pick because I'm considering their performance/price ratio. Please help me. These are the parts I already picked:
HITACHI 500GB 7200RPM 3.5" SATA
POWERCOLOR HD7770 1GB GDDR5 128BIT
CORSAIR XMS3 4GB 1333MHZ
COOLER MASTER LAN 241 BLACK
AEROCOOL VP PRO 500W

These are my choices:
Intel Core i3-3210
Intel Core i3-3220
AMD FX-4100
AMD FX-6100
AMD FX-4300
AMD FX-6300

When you choose, include a recommended and cheap mobo for it.

Would the process of updating the bios hard? I hear that if there's nothing wrong with your BIOS you shouldn't update it. Well, that's what the manufacturer of my old mobo said.

Okay, if it were me, I would forget the Intel Core i3's if you cannot afford an Intel Core i7. I would stick with the AMD FX-6300 since it's newer and you can overclock it easily.
Also, I would recommend getting a CPU cooler for it if you plan on overclocking. If you don't want to overclock, don't even bother. Good luck. :)

In this case its necessary to make bios of this mobos up to date so they can run the FX 6300.. or you can consider buying them (mobo+cpu) from one place so you can get them updated and ready..

Or, is it better if I go down to Pentium G203 or G202 and spend more for my graphics card?
Don't you even think about it ..
