Can i upgrade my Acer 5745PG with a i3 processor to a i7 quadcore processor?

I current ly have a I3 processor but when i play a game online, it lags so much.

I was wondering if i could do this to raise my FPS and have smooth gaming with no lagging.

no. its a laptop, the CPU is soldered on. even if its not, you wont be finding a replacement CPU.

also note, its your graphics card that affects your performance not so much your CPU. you also cannot upgrade your graphics card
