I am not sure if this is the right place to post, but hopefully someone can help with the problem I am having with my PC.
When the pc is working fine, the fans start then seem to go a little quieter and then the Windows page loads up and everything is fine. But I am finding now that when I turn it on sometimes, the fan noise starts, does not go quieter and the screen stays black, although I can hear the Windows noise. I have tried leaving it to sit but it still does not load anything up and can only turn off the computer by holding in the off button for quite a few seconds.
I am at a complete loss as to what it can be ( I did google and found some posts on forums that the problem was the RAM, I did need to upgrade this anyway and have now replaced those, but the problem still persists.) I am a complete computer novice, with my husband knowing less than I do.
Any help would be gratefully appreciated.
