Gigabyte_GA-h77-ds3h uefi install

I have a brand new Gigabyte GA-h77-ds3h motherboard (it works fine).
My problem is, that I cannot install Windows 7 64bits in UEFI-GPT mode on it.
When I boot from the installation DVD, I have absolutely no option to use UEFI booting,
which is not the case if I boot any 64bits Linux install medium.
(For example, I use an Arch Linux system in UEFI boot mode on another hard drive).

What could be the problem?

Yeah, I have pretty much the same problem. I posted my own thread about it and got one reply. I'll link it here so you can check it out if you haven't solved the problem already. If you did figure it out, please let me know what you did because I don't fully understand what I was told and I'm still having issues. If this is a common thing then perhaps we can get a good thread going about it.
