I have a DELL E520 with Vista 32bit, ive upped RAM to 6gb from 2gb and its running an INTEL PENTIUM D CPU 2.8GHZ.
Thought about changing OS to Win7 64bit and maxing RAM to 8gb - havent thought about upgrading pocessor yet... wondered whether this was worth doing or more cost effective and efficient to just buy new system / tower running i3 or i5 processor ratherthan spend £300+ upgrading what I have?
Any suggestions / thoughts would be great as kinda want a decent speedy setup (although internet does dipout) without speding mega bucks as may need to also buy a laptop or notebook in addition for work.
