I would get 650 Ti since it has better clock speed and stuff. Obviously depending on your use, for gaming: 650 ti. If you can bump it up to 7850 or GTX 660, you'll be glad you did! But 650 ti would be my choice out of the two!

You say to get the 650 TI has "better clock speed" but are you going by core clock or memory clock, because the 650 Ti has the better memory speed but the 7770 GHz has the faster core speed (going by the numbers posted above)?

I meant the clock speed is higher on the reference card and that is not the only reason I'd chose it over 7770, I gave an example. Again off reference card. I didn't say anything because I prefer it, rather that 650 ti is like 660 and 660 is more like 7850 so it is better overall. Give him your opinion and you'll be all good...

Basically, I don't have an opinion because I know very little about gfx cards and I am trying to learn from those that do know.

I thought you were about to argue, I am tired so I didn't read it properly, sorry for acting cocky I meant a reference card out of the two = 650ti better, That small amount of increased speed won't be too noticable. If it was me - I would go for the MSI 650 Ti - though it would edge out a 7770 for me by a small amount. I would rather have the nvidia 6xx features for that price range.

Thanks, i will go for the 650 Ti, or rather, will spend $30 extra and get the Gigabyte 7790 2GB OC'edd as it will probably be a better buy for gaming
