Hey there!
I have an HP laptop with Windows 7. When I bought it, it was pre-installed, and was not provided with a recovery or windows disc. Recently, the HD shorted. So I bought a new one and installed it, no problem. I have the product key for my installation of Windows 7, but no disc. What can I do now? D:

Thanks so much!

64-bit or 32-bit

Home edition, Professional Edition?

Home Premium:

Windows 7 Home Premium x86(32-bit):
http://msft.digitalrivercontent.net/win/X17-24208.iso

Windows 7 Home Premium x64(64-bit):
http://msft.digitalrivercontent.net/win/X17-24209.iso

You can learn to burn the file to a USB device here and also supplys the proper windows program to do so:
http://www.microsoftstore.com/store/msusa/html/pbPage.Help_Win7_usbdvd_dwnTool

Or otherwise burn to a dvd via windows disc burner.

If a different edition please specify, and ill find the download.

Hey there! Thanks SO much guys! I checked my key annnd I have Windows 7 Home Premium OA, and I believe it was 64 bit, though some programs were installed as 32 bit. Would that be within the 64 bit link? Thank you guys SO much too. I may pick up a DL DVD, unless I can find the external HD I have somewhere and can boot from that...I'm definitely going to get the drivers elsewhere--they take FOREVER to ship and are pricey...

32-bit programs work within a 64-bit environment with windows 7's neat compatibility mode; altho you will need to install your programs seperatly windows 7 image is only windows 7 no programs such as microsoft office or anything like that. Anyways if i've helped please mark my post as the answer.

Actually, not quite that, it's done using an emulator called WOW64 (WOW stands for Windows On Windows), the compatibility mode is there to run software that may not run under Win 7 without some tricking to make it think that it's running on an older OS like XP or Vista.

They both allow something to run on Windows that normally would not natively, but they do different things.
