How to stop my laptop disconnecting from the wireless internet. I will be connected forr exactly 3 minutes and disconnected fo

My Dell laptop disconnects itself from the wireless internet after exactly 3 minutes and reconnects after exactly 20 seconds. I am using XP and the other computers in the house all work fine.
I have looked at the power saving box in Network connections and it is indeed unchecked.
Any advice would b appreciated

If the laptop disconnects after exactly 3 minutes, power saving is unchecked and no other computer/laptop is having the issue, I would try to run some scans to see if there are any viruses/malware on the laptop along with making sure XP is updated for a next step.
