whats a good router cpu

I'm using a linksys e1000 with 300 MHz cpu due to dd-wrt firmware overclocking and was wondering if that's fast enough to avoid any bottlenecks to my bandwidth. My speed through the modem is 28 mbps down with 2.8 up but 17 down and 1.4 up with a wired router test via speedtest.net. ?
