Wow! I'm impressed with AMD's latest beta thus far. Far Cry 3 almost fully maxed 60+ fps without all the crap I was experiencing with their last beta with my OC'd 7950

they need to their mobility 13.9 drivers gives me black screens yet 12.4 or 13.10 doesn't. a lot of people are having issues with their 13.9 mobility drivers.

This could solve my issues I had last night trying to play BF4, it was it was jumping from smooth to laggy as hell, you would think a 680 gtx would make that game play crystal smooth. Downloading now, will try again tonight, see if I can actually shoot some one instead of being owned.

Its not just the mobility drivers, I get black screens with their desktop drivers.

I tried the BF4 beta last night, worst experience with a game constantly crashing in YEARS. The Direct X error even said "your code is bad" literally... lol

this is refrence to NVidia making metro LL suck on AMD cards btw not the other way around

Great to see the quick updates, the stuttering in the BF4 beta makes it borderline unplayable.

If you turn the top antialiasing option to low, turn the ones below to off, post processing to off, and ambient occlusion to off, the stuttering goes away.

I'm thinking it has to do with particle effects and the AA/AO.. just a guess, but the fog and smoke was the only thing that REALLY ticked off my setup. ((2)gtx570's oc'd in sli w/i7-2600k@4.8)
But of course this is all besides the 'direct x device hung because of your crappy code' error

BF4 beta is smooth as butter on my 7870. BF4 beta has DX error crashes on my other PC with a 560 ti. Comps are identical apart from the vid cards.

There appears to be an issue with Nvidia cards when tabbing out of the game. Are you running the beta drivers on both systems?

The beta NV drivers seem to definitely be "beta". I'm now getting random "driver has stopped" crashes while watching Netflix and can't get fullscreen to work in BF4 above 60 Hz. It did fix the framerate issues with BF4 though.
