I am trying to get this image: http://hothardware.com/newsimages/Item26084/AMD-fx-Unlo...

as my avatar.

Im trying to get it to fill up all the 100x100 space, but when ever I do it, it has white bars on the side, even when I have it as .png with all background removed.

Any ideas?

start with the larger image then use a photo editing program to cut the amd logo out of the background and make just the logo the full image.

I did that, and re-sized it to the 100x100 needed for the forums, it still doesn't work.

Make sure it's under 100k, and that the file extension is one of the accepted types. (jpg, gif, png). Also, if your current avatar is named a certain way "example.jpg", make sure your replacement file is not also "example.jpg".

Hope this helps!

Ah, that was it. It was the file name messing it up.
