Hi everyone. I just recently installed Windows 7 ultimate to my new Intel 180GB 335 Series SSD. I forgot to switch my BIOS from IDE to AHCI. My motherboard is a GA-MA770T-UD3P (rev. 1.0). Now I am able to use Windows 7 ultimate without any problem but once I connect my reformatted old 500GB Seagate Barracuda 7200.12 my SSD disappears in my BIOS, it wouldn't boot up. It would tell me that BOOTMGR is missing. My copmputer only works when my SSD is working alone. My local technician suggested that I buy a new motherboard and processor. Can somebody help me fix this? I still don't have extra cash to buy a new mobo and processor.

Hi, For AHCI, try reinstalling Windows, SATA set to AHCI this time.
For the HDD issue, make sure that the SSDE is connected to the SATA 0 port.
If still the same, try reinstalling Windows with both SSD and HDD connected. Make sure you're using SATA 3 cables if the drives are connected to SATA 3 ports.
