So, recently I posted a thread about needing a 3D rendering/AutoCAD workstation.

I got some good answers but after more research I've discovered that some of the parts listed seem to be on the lower end of the performance I think I will expect/want for the work station.

I've been doing some research (which is overwhelming to say the least) and think I have come up with something that will suit my current needs, and keep me satisified for quite a while (at least until my current work load produces enough revenue to pay this work station off).

I'm open to buying from different websites, but honestly I'm mostly familiar with Newegg (always had good luck with their products & love the free/quick shipping), but I'm also familiar with/like Tiger Direct, but sometimes their prices aren't very competitive.

Here are my 3 questions for you:
1. Do you think what is listed below is a good setup, with decent parts that will last/be suitable for at least 3 years?
2. After looking at what is listed below, have I covered everything I will need?
3. After looking at what is listed below, do you suspect that their would be any conflicts with anything that depends on each other? <-- most import to me honestly .. since I've never done this before I need/want to make sure I am not buying something that will have conflicts and leave me waiting even longer to re-order/ship back parts & pieces.

Here is the setup I am considering (price w/free shipping is currently @ $1716.00):

CPU: Intel Core i7-3820 Sandy Bridge-E 3.6GHz (3.8GHz Turbo Boost) LGA 2011 130W Quad-Core Desktop Processor

**edit**

Just to give you an idea of what I am doing and why I need this to be so beefy, these are what I'm producing (and don't want them to take me 3 days to produce .. I need them more in like less than a day). My current setup allows for good production, but sometimes it's still really slow when I have multiple applications running/rendering. (hope this works, lol)

Question .. I don't see an i7-4930k listed that isn't Ivy Bridge.

I've read several places that Sandy Bridge is better for AutoCAD products .. comments on that?

Are we talking about LGA 1155 / 1150 or LGA 2011 cpu's?

Look this it may help :)
