I have bought Hitachi HDD 1 year ago and I must say I felt something was wrong from the start. I am running win 7 64bit have i7 processor with 16GB ram memory but he was grinding from day 1 in idle mode. Some forums suggested that 8GB ram was not enough and the HDD is using his memory but after i got 16GB it is the same. Sometimes my comp freeze for few sec. Few times it totaly freezed everything that i had to go for hard reset and before I did that, I was listening how he spins and the sound was like a loop going over and over again in the same spot (best I can explain :D).
Then I downloaded HD Tune Pro and got this from health tab:

Was going trough Chkdsk and he found nothing anr repared nothing.

Thanks for help in advance.

First of all back up your data. Then I would run the Hitachi drive fitness test from HERE.

Pending sector count is a problem because it indicates that the drive is not reallocating sectors properly. You could do a full format of the drive and check it again, but since chkdsk didn't nudge your drive to reallocate that doesn't look promising.
