Would a AMD FX 4100 quad core processor work well with a Gigabyte gtx 770 graphics card and a 700w power supply I already have the power supply and processor, i am wondering if my system would be able to run it ?

My pc Specs

Processor - AMD FX(tm)-4100 Quad Core Processor 3.60GHz
Installed Memory(RAM) - 16.0GB
64bit
Mother Board - Asus m5a97

Yes, all is compatible. The Bulldozer quad core may bottle neck the GTX 770 a bit, but it shouldn't be too bad. And then only in certain games. But it is important to know the make/model of your PSU, not just rated watts.

Do you mean my Processor is Lacking The power to run with the card ?, My power supply says "WIN POWER ADK-700"

No, the processor is fine. Bottle necking occurs when the gfx card is rendering more frames per second that the processor can handle. When that happens, the card is not used at its full potential. But all will work fine. No problem.

That PSU is one I have never heard of and can't find any specs on. I'm afraid it may be a cheap PSU. It is important to know the wattage and amperage available on the +12V rail(s). That is where the power hungry devices like a gfx card and CPU get their power from. Can you find the nameplate on the pSU and tell me the +12V specs?

Alright, their is a row in the table like this.

V +3.3V. +5V. +12V1. +12V2. +12V3. +12V4. +12V5. -12V. +5VSB
25A. 25A. 21A. 21A. 21A. 21A. 21A. 0.6A. 3A

MAX. 150W. 552W
678W

Under voltage at the top of the chart I might had it says

-V input. Voltage
115V~
230V~

There is also a part which says Total Output 700W Max

OK. The important numbers are the 4 +12V rails. There are 4 x 21amp +12V rails. (84 amps) It is a capable PSU. You should be good for just about any card or CPU you put in the PC. Just had to be sure it wasn't some over-rated cheapie.

I custom built my pc from cyber power uk I am pretty sure it was round about the middle of the selection bit so it was not super cheap or expensive just average or something like that,

I am guessing this is a 700w power supply with the things I wrote before because of the max saying 700w, hat might sound really stupid but it's always better to ask instead of being wrong

A Like I said before, I hadn't heard of that brand. Here in the US, it isn't sold. And some cheap PSUs have outrageous ratings that they could never live up to. I just wanted to make sure you didn't end up with a ruined system because of a cheap PSU taking out something else when it decided to go. In your case, all looks good. Sorry to doubt you.
