Which of these two systems is best for gaming?

I'm building my very first gaming PC, which I will be using for (you guessed it) gaming! I'm torn between two systems, one's an AMD and the others an Intel!

Which one of these two systems is best for gaming and just gaming, I don't really care about video rendering, just gaming performance! Any help is really appreciated as I'm new to all this!

They are both good. I would pick the Intel system, myself. Runs cooler and a higher IPC.

They're both about equal it just depends on who you want to support more really Intel or AMD, Intel has the leg up right now as far as I5-4570 vs FX 8350 goes. Then again FX 8350 has 8 cores and everyone knows the more cores you have the more people will love you. That last statement is backed up by scientific fact I think.

i would stick with intel, as it offers more stable performance on single threaded apps, games don't make use of multi threading so the amd has multithreading that is not used in games, personally i like intel better, but in the end both systems will run very well on games so it's up to your personal taste and budget...
