Hi , i was thinking about upgrading/rebuilding my old PC , my budget is around 250-300$

graphics card : nivida grforce 8400GS 512mb
which of these config is better ?

2) AMD 3.5 AM3+ FX 6-Core Edition FX-6300 ,
MSI 970A-G43 Motherboard,

The fx 6300 is a much better CPU, but then you'll need some graphics to go with it...not that the A8 has an amazing GPU, but it's at least decent.

It depends on the games you are playing now. If you got a new graphics card for your current system, you would see a huge improvement.
