Yes it will work as long as it has a PCI-E slot. GPU's are backward/forward compatible. But if the slot on MB has V1.1 then it will not be able to use full bandwidth of the GPU, meaning it will run somewhat slow.

Another thing will the GPU fit on your cabinet, make it sure first.

And I think it will require a 6 pin PCI-E connector cable from PSU, do your PSU have it ?

Measured power consumption R7770
1.System in IDLE = 155W
2.System Wattage with GPU in FULL Stress = 231W
3.Difference (GPU load) = 76W
4.Add average IDLE wattage ~10W
5.Subjective obtained GPU power consumption = ~ 86 Watts

Radeon HD 7770 - On your average system the card requires you to have a 450 Watt power supply unit.

Thank you! I have 400W PSU, and i think it will works fine. I have calculated a power consumption of my all components (including HD7770) and result is a 309W (260w but recomended wattage is 309).
My configuration is: Core 2 Quad Q8300, 4x1GB ram, 250GB 7200rpm HDD. And i have plan to overclock my CPU to 2.80-90 GHz.
Thank you for answer!

Yes the GPU will work fine on a 400W PSU, provided it has a 6 pin PCI-E connector. And don't overclock the CPU, cause the PSU may not handle the overclocking. To overclock you need a powerful PSU. Another thing 8GB RAM will be good for playing games. Good Luck.
