wich is better in gaming

wich is better..buying an i3 with HD 7850

or buying an i5 with HD 7750?

and does it really matter getting the DDR5 instead of DDR3?..what's the diffrence between them?

i3 with the 7850 would be better than an i5 with 7750. ddr5 is faster than 3 and does affect performance in gpus. A better option would be an FX 6300 and an FX 7850. An FX 6300 just bumped up to FX 6350 speed is enough to outperform an i3 3225 in games and right now are selling for less than an i3, which might allow for enough for a slight bump in GPU.

thanks for responding..what about i3-3220 3.1 GHz , HD 7770 2 gb DDR3, Ram 4 Giga..would it be enough for games like BF3 & hitman on high with 1280x720p..i dunno if 7770 really worth to afford instead of 7750, or i wont feel the difrrence in performance..because 7750 is much cheaper than 7770

I recently grabbed an HD 5850 for a spare rig for $63 shipped. 5850 sits somewhere between a 7770 and a 7790 on performance and would be a far better card than a 7750. I have it paired up with an i5 750 @ 3.0 and 8gb ddr3 1600. Decent little rig for what it gets used for.
