Hello , so i just bought this laptop (HP Envy DV6) and i installed some games on it but in the heavy games like (Splinter Cell:Blacklist) the CPU and Motherboard get overheated both have a temperature of (80 to 85C) the Graphics Card is a little bit cooler but still hot...

~My question is: Is it OK to continue playing while like this ? or does it do any harm to my laptop if i continue playing??

Specs (if matters) :
CPU : Intel Core i7 3610QM @ 2.30GHz
RAM: 8.00GB Dual-Channel DDR3 @ 799MHz (11-11-11-28)
GRAPHICS: 2GB NVIDIA GeForce GT 635M

try changing the max power consumption of processor from 90%to 98% in power plan high performance power plan and in gaming plan also this will limit your processor power consumption and result in less heat generation.. this will not affect your gaming performance even though

No reducing power consumption at level 90% to 98% won't harm urs laptop in any sense....Also try using cooling pad for laptop for better result .
