Hi, I'm looking for ideas for a media PC, my needs are simple something to hold all my media & stream it around the house, I know my budget is well over my needs but iv got the budget so I'm going to use it.
So far iv already got 4 2TB HDD from work & I'm looking to house it in a media case. I was looking to start with the i7 4770K, I need ideas on a motherboard for my needs. I know this is all over kill but if your going to do something you may aswell do it properly. So if you have any ideas on the whole setup it would be much appreciated.

You definitely don't need an i7 for media streaming. You can get by with way less than that. I would suggest something like this:

1/2 the proposed budget. The 6800K is a very overclock friendly CPU, and the NZXT Kraken allows you to overclock it as much as you want. The Samsung 840 Pro is the fastest boot drive on the market.
