Long story short I've been plotting and buying a few parts over the last couple of months. Well recently I attended an auction and bought a Dell Optiplex that housed a i7-2600 in it for little to nothing.
I have yet to buy my motherboard/CPU for my build which I was planning on going socket 1150 with Haswell.
The hyper-threading ability of the i7 is nice but since it's a non-K can I expect to get anything close to what i would be able to do with the i5-K?
So would you try and sell this clean Dell Optiplex for a profit for money to be used toward your gaming PC parts or make use of it's CPU?
Thank you!
