Hi,
I've recently noticed that My PC has suddenly stopped recognising all my CPU cores I have an AMD Phenom II dual core unlocked to tri-core.Windows is only recognising 1 core, but in device manager it sees three cores, disabled the core unlock, that doesn't work, tried forcing the CPU boot option using MSConfig to 3, I also have tried uninstalling the drivers, that doesn't work.
I did restart it once and the cores were working again, and after turning the PC on later it was Back to 1. I even made a Ubuntu USB, all cores are recognised in that checked with terminal using top and 1 commands, I really don't wish to re-install windows as I have Junction points set up for userfiles and Program files to the bigger than 3 TB partition with registry fixes and it works a dream other than this recent issue.
Running Windows 7 Pro x64
Many Thanks

Edit: I've just tried the method of using EasyBCD and setting it to limit windows to 0 that didn't work for me.
