1 x PCI slot
What can these be used for and can extra USB ports be operated from these?

The x16 - for graphics card
The x1 or PCI can be used for installing PCI based USB adapters.

You ca use an adapter like

or, even better,
a bracket like http://www.lunashops.com/goods.php?id=503
for connecting it to the internal USB headers.
I wouldn't use a PCIex1 based card as the slots are close to the one for the graphics card.
Any local PC shop should have in stock a bracket or a PCI USB adapter.

Another problem I'm having is:-

On the front of my PC I have a double USB; when I remove the PCB it includes the 2 USBs' and 2 phono inputs.

One of the USB's is not working bent pins.

Have you any idea if I can buy a replacement PCB?

Hello I'm back!!!
On the edge of my motherboard I have USB 56 (in use) and two nine pin connectors named USB 78 & USB 910 (unused).
I'm thinking these will be used for connecting my addition USB ports?

Also I have 2 PCI EX1-1 and PCI Ex1-2 could these be used as an alternative to the two above?

The USB 56 is used for the front panel USB ports, so you can use the 78 and 910.
The PCIe x1 slots are close to the graphics card, so I'd rather use a bracket with USB 78 and USB 910.
