You should get pretty bomb performance out of $800--I'm going to assume you don't need a new monitor or keyboard here.

Here's a sample build for gaming:

EVGA GTX 760 2gb: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16814130933

Team Vulcan 2x4gb kit: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16820313344

Gigabyte mobo w/wifi and bluetooth: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16813128615

Core i5 4670k: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16819116899

Kingston 120gb ssd: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16820721107

Now, you'll notice that this is a mini itx setup, which I chose because of the compactness, as well as the build-in wireless capabilities (not to mention the board comes with a host of great features like 7.1 channel sound). I'd recommend popping it in a smaller case if you feel like saving a little desk space, otherwise, you're fine with the case you have. I included a 120gb ssd, because you'll see a massive day to day performance increase from installing your programs and OS on it. The Core i5 is a great gaming solution, and won't bottleneck the GTX 760. Speaking of which, the 760 should easily handle Crysis 3 at max setting at 1080p. This runs at just a bit under $800.

Now, if you really don't think you need the built in wireless, save yourself some money and go with something like this: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16813157387

Again, if you don't feel you need the SSD, put that extra money into a gtx770, which should run a bit under $400.

Hope this helps!

Thank you for the info. I'll look at these both seriously. Msi decent for a video card? I've never strayed from evga

Also forgot to mention I have just purchased a creative sound blaster Z sound card 5.1 with digital in and out.

I have never seen what a ssd performs like and If I would really notice a difference gaming and day to day use I'll get one. But if sacrificing the gtx770 will cost me running games like guild wars 2, battlefield 4, and the soon to be released Watch Dogs on max then I will hold out on the SSD. I also am using a duel monitor setup, one HDMI HP2711 27inch monitor and a LG 22.5 inch monitor.

And for sure my current power supply is good for these cards?

Yes, MSI makes great cards. Also, the twin frozr 770 has one of the best cooling systems out of the 770 card line.

Also, if you want to go a little cheaper on the graphics card I would highly suggest MSI's Twin Frozr 2GB OC card. I've been using mine for almost a month now and every game I have thrown at it (witcher 2, skyrim, arma 2, etc) have run on max detail 1080p no problem. Plus you can always grab another down the road for SLI (will meet/surpass even nvidai's gtx titan).

MSI 760 - $250

Thank you. You think liquid cooling is necessary?

Liquid cooling is not needed unless you want to overclock your cpu past 4ghz. Just go with air, works well and is quite (hence the evo 212).

The Msi motherboard you linked says crossfire only. No SLI for nvidia cards

Oh my bad, (made the build too quick I guess), here is a nice mobo that will support SLI (only $115 at microcenter right now) - http://pcpartpicker.com/part/asrock-motherboard-z87extreme3
