I have a GTX 660 already in my machine and two VE198T monitors. Everything is working fine but I have a GeForce 8800GT lying around that I want to use. Is there a way I can use it without SLI? I heard it's possible to use one GPU for one screen and the other for another screen. Thanks in advance.

You should be able to connect both monitors to your GTX 660, if you just want dual displays. The only way to have both cards running in the same system is if you run the 8800GT as a dedicated PhysX card. But a GTX 660 is powerful enough that it will not really benefit from using a dedicated PhysX card, and besides, only a dozen games out there use PhysX. In my opinion, it's not worth it.

I already have the 8800 so I might as well put it in right?
