Realtek HD Audio driver microphone problem

I have just built a new pc and installed the default realtek HD audio drivers but when I go on skype and want to call someone they can't hear me unless I put my mic in my mouth or I blow in it. Even then the sound is very deformed so that's useless. I have read over a lot of reactions and forums and tried different things but I can't find any solution. The problem is surely driver related as I found a lot of people have this same issue but no one has a solution. I hope you can help me so I can finally use my mic.

What happen if you change the Skype configuration for "non" auto manage the mic?

Same thing, the sound is still deformed and very very quiet. I tried different thing like increasing boost to max, set the mic on loudest settings in control panel but nothing worked.
