i5 3570k or i7 2600k

I found this i7 2600k for $150 and the i5 3570k is around $200 so which is better for gaming only
the i7 2600k with a 7970ghz or the new r9 280x
or the i5 3570k with a cheaper gpu?????

I'd go with the 2600K, OC better, overall more powerful, 3570K is a gen newer, but will prob be happier with the extra power and the better GPU, especially if this is for gaming
