Hello everyone.here is my problem:
my CPU (AMD socket AM2+) stopped working so i decided to buy a new one.I have the asrock k10n78m motherboard that supports AM2,AM2+ and some AM3 CPUs,after a bios update.so i bought amd athlon x2 260(AM3 socket) that according to mobo's official site is supported after bios 1.80.
I updated the bios to that version but nothing good happens.Computer does not start up at all,it doesnt passes the bios check up,no signal at all at sceen
What may go wrong?
(by the way,for the moment i use the pc with an old AM2 CPU and is working fine(but off course a little slow)
